Kathleen Fanning has been involved with the design, development and delivery of a wide range of programmes from accredited learning to experientially based, training programmes and workshops since 1995.
Kathleen’s particular interest is in the areas of interpersonal communication and personal effectiveness and she has facilitated teams and coached many individuals to maximise their personal and professional potential. Her areas of expertise include Presentation Skills and Train the Trainer.
Kathleen worked for 8 years as a Lecturer in Limerick Institute of Technology –Tipperary (Tipperary Institute) teaching in the areas of interpersonal communication and personal effectiveness. Prior to joining LIT-Tipperary, Kathleen worked in a full-time capacity as a Management Specialist with the Institute of Public Administration’s leadership and management team. She designed and presented courses for facilitators, trainers, front-line staff, supervisors and managers.
In recent years she has designed and facilitated a number of initiatives with community based groups and voluntary organisations in the areas of rural development, personal and inter-personal effectiveness and designing and progressing social and community initiatives.
Prior to joining the Institute in 1998, Kathleen coordinated the Montessori & Childcare Programme the CDVEC's Liberties College.
Responsible for curriculum development, facilitation and assessment of HETAC accredited programmes. Personal & professional development/group dynamics/facilitation skills modules across Rural Development, Business and ICT degree programmes through years 1-3.
